Ethiopia pulling citizens out of Yemen Featured

Addis Ababa April 17/2015 Eighty-nine Ethiopians evacuated from Yemen, which has been shelled by Saudi led coalition forces, arrived in Addis Ababa yesterday.

The government has set up a national committee to facilitate evacuation of its citizens from Yemen and a total of 200 Ethiopia have so far pulled out, Middle East Affairs Director General with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Siraj Reshid told ENA.

Efforts have continued more Ethiopians from Yemen in collaboration with the Ethiopian Embassy in Aden and Diaspora community representatives, he said.

Over 3,000 Ethiopians who registered for the evacuation are waiting to get out of Yemen.
