African Music, Cultural Exchange Festival to be Held in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa May 17/2017 The First Annual African Music and Cultural Exchange Festival (AMCEF), a fun family friendly affair, is scheduled to be held in Addis Ababa at Ghion Hotel from 27-28th May, 2017.   

The festival will showcase an amazing array of vibrant African traditional and contemporary music, dance, art, food, fashion, main stage concert and experiential zones.

The African Union supports AMCEF’s aims to bring Africans together in celebration of Africa Day in this annual event. 

The main stage concert to be held both evenings includes well-known local and international African artists, featuring Oliver Mtukudzi (Zimbabwe), Jose Chameleone (Uganda), Patoranking (Nigeria), Mafikizolo and DJ Clock (South Africa) and DJ Adrian (Kenya).

Also, leading Ethiopian artists Jonny Ragga, Helen Berhe, Berry and Zema Habesha Traditional Group will perform.
