Council of Ministers Approves Proclamations, Regulations Featured

Addis Ababa April 21/2017 The Council of Ministers has approved two proclamations and three regulations in its 27th regular session today.

According to a press release issued by the Office of the Council of Ministers, the council has decided that the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange Authority be accountable to Ministry of Trade in order to integrate the authority with sectoral offices and create conducive situation.

It also deliberated on the draft regulations tabled to increase the capitals of the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange Authority and Ethiopian Industrial Parks Development Corporation and ordered the publishing of those on Negarit Gazet to scale up their capitals.

The council endorsed the draft regulation that allowed the dissolution of Ethiopian Agricultural Commodities Warehouse Service and its transfer to Ethiopian Commodity Exchange Authority. It approved the draft regulation that sets fees for services the National Meteorology Institute (NMI) and ordered its publishing on Negarit Gazet.
