Ethiopia’s Largest Construction Expo Kicks off Featured

Addis Ababa October 13/2017 The Addis Build Expo, Ethiopia’s largest annual exhibition on construction, kicked off in Addis Ababa.

 The four days exhibition being held at the Millennium Hall, gathers local and global companies in construction materials, equipment, and technology.

 The expo helps to promote technology transfer and experience sharing which in turn lead to the growth of the sector, said Dr Argaw Asha, Acting Executive Director of the Ethiopian Construction Project Management Institute.

 This international exhibition would have great contribution in improving competence of the construction industry, he added.

 The event would also help to foster partnership among local and foreign companies, Argaw said.

 Managing Director of Ethel Advertising and Communication PLC, the co-organizer of the event, Haimanot Tesfaye told ENA that the exhibition is aimed at bringing knowledge and technologies of transnational companies to Ethiopia.

 Enhancing the capacity of local companies, encouraging new businesses to the sector, and introducing new technologies are also among the objectives of the expo.

 The expo is attended by around 105 exhibitors from 12 countries including Bulgaria, China, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, and U.S.

 The International Addis Build Construction, Construction Materials and Technologies expo was organized by Ladin Fair and Congress Organization Services in collaboration with Ethel Advertising and Communication.
