Ethiopian Diasporas in Sudan Purchases 90,000 USD Worth GERD Bond Featured

Addis Ababa May 18/2017Ethiopian diasporas living in Sudan have bought 90,000 USD worth GERD bond to support the ongoing construction of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

In addition, they have pledged to purchase 33,000 USD worth bond.

Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Sudan, Abadi Zemu, urged the diasporas at the fund raising event to continue their support for the finalization of the dam. 

Ethiopian diaspora who bought the bond on their part have expressed their commitment to support the dam by buying the bond.

To date, the Ethiopian diaspora residing in Sudan and Sudanese have so far bought close to 1.2 million USD worth GERD bonds, it learned.
