Addis Ababa March 11, 2017 The first batch of 40/60 condominium houses built in two sites in Addis Ababa under the 40/60 housing program inaugurated today.
The 1,292 condominium houses which inaugurated today are part of more than 39,000 condominium houses being built in 13 sites in Addis Ababa.
The project known as the 40/60 housing program is part of the government's initiative in developing condominium houses so as to ease housing shortages in the capital and major towns.
These types of condominium houses will be transferred to beneficiaries who saved 40 percent of the cost of the houses.
The houses expected to be transfer for beneficiaries in the near future, according to officials.
