Addis Ababa January 01/01/2018A four-day international management conference that focuses on building the capacity of African institutions will be held in Addis Ababa this week.
The conference will be held from January 3-6, 2018 at the School of Commerce of Addis Ababa University.
School of Commerce Head, Dr. Abeba Beyene told ENA that the conference will discuss ways of building the capacity of institutions in Africa.
The contribution of management in making both African's governmental and non-governmental institutions to be competitive at a global scale will be discussed during this conference, she added.
Dr. Abeba, who noted that Africa is among continents registering rapid economic growth, added that the conference will discuss means of building institutional capacity that meets the growth.
Some 68 researches on human resources development, public administration and policy, innovation, and institutional competency will be presented at the conference.
Researchers and stakeholders ranging from 140-150 drawn from 20 countries are expected to participate in the conference.
