Addis Ababa April 25/2013 Ethiopian Ambassador to the South Korea Dr. Dibaba Abdeta said activities enabling Korean investors engage in different investment sectors in Ethiopia are underway.
Ambassador Dibaba told ENA on Thursday that the activities are underway to enable the investors engage in different sectors here and thereby strengthen the age old relation between Ethiopia and Korea.
The two countries have reached agreement to work together in trade, investment and tourism sectors, the ambassador, said, adding, the 50th anniversary of the launching of diplomatic relation between the two countries will be celebrated with various assortments in Seoul, Korea.
Ethiopia has given attention to strengthening the historical relation with Korea, he said, adding, Korea is keen to work with Ethiopia in particular taking into consideration Ethiopia's contribution to maintain peace in Korea during the Korean War.
Korean industry village is being built in Addis Ababa following efforts carried out to attract investors, he said.
