Maichew March 23/2013 More than 400 million tree seedlings are prepared in five woredas of Southern Tigray Zone, the zonal agriculture and rural development department said.
Department Acting Head, Achamyeleh Assefa told ENA on Thursday that the seedlings will be transplanted on over 35,000 hectares depleted land in the zone during the next main rainy season.
Achamyeleh said the seedling are prepared by more than 1200 seedling nurturing centers.
