Gambella March 22/2013 Construction of a safe water project launched with nearly ten million Birr in Korgeng Town, Lare Woreda of Gambella State is nearing completion, the woreda administration said.
Woreda Chief, Yey Chol said upon going fully operational in the coming two months, the project will benefit more than 20,000 residents of the town and its environs.
The Chief said the project will help to curb safe water shortage in the town.
Some residents on their parts said the project will bring about sustainable solution to the prevailing safe water shortage in the town.
