3 secondary schools under construction

  Gujji March 22/2013 Three secondary schools are being constructed in Gujji Zone of Oromia State with over 26 million Birr, the zonal education office said. Planning and projects team leader with the office, Chernet Busawa said the schools are being constructed in Adola Weyu Town, Liben and Adola Rede Woredas of the zone. Chernet said the schools will have capacity to enroll more than 2400 students. The schools have classrooms, offices, libraries, laboratories and sports facilities, among others. Nearly 15,000 students are attending classes at 23 secondary schools in regular programs in the zone during the current academic year. Some 6000 of the total students are females.
