Dessie March 21/2013 Over 100km road is being constructed in Delanta Woreda, South Wollo Zone of Amhara State with 150 million Birr allocated by the government, the woreda administration said.
Woreda Chief, Tarekegn Arage said the road interconnects Dawunt and Gubalafto Woredas as well as Woldiya Town.
Tarekegn said construction of the road will be completed within the next three years.
Some residents on their parts said the road will help to attract more investment to the area and speed up development.
