Dessie March 17/2013 Two secondary schools constructed in Wegdi Woreda, South Wollo Zone of Amhara State at a cost of 15 million Birr have been readied for service, the woreda education office said.
Office Head, Ewnetu Ejjigu told ENA that the schools are constructed in Wegdi and Lemi Towns.
Ewnetu said the schools are constructed in collaboration with the government and NGOs.
The head said the schools will enroll more than 2000 students in the coming academic year.
The government is working in collaboration with NGOs operating in the woreda to expand educational facilities in the area, he said.
