DireDawa March 16/2013 Haremaya University in Oromia State said it is undertaking various projects at a cost of 223 million Birr.
University President, Dr. Girma Amente told ENA on Friday that the projects include, among others, construction of an assembly hall, 6.5km asphalt road.
Dr. Girma said the assembly hall being constructed with 185 million Birr of the stated sum, will have capacity to give service to 4,500 people at a time.
The President said the road being undertaken with 38 million Birr will link the main campus with the Technology Institute and also the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
