Adama March 14/2013 Investment Office of Adama Town, Oromia State said it has licensed 700 investment projects worth more than 10 billion Birr over the past year.
Office Head, Tolosa Balcha told ENA that the projects are in the areas of agro-industry, manufacturing, construction and tourism, among others.
Up on going fully operational, the projects are expected to create jobs for more than 44,000 individuals.
