Nekempt March 11/2013 Construction of 64km road is underway in NunuKumba Woreda, East Wollega Zone of Oromia State with over 17.5 million Birr through the Universal Rural Road Access Project (URRAP), the woreda roads office said.
Office Head, Tadesse Balcha told ENA that the road will benefit more than 45,000 residents.
Tadesse said the road interconnects 13 localities in the woreda.
URRAP is part of the Growth and Transformation Plan designed to construct roads interconnecting all rural localities in the country.
