Humera March 07/2013 Some 17 investors with over 144 million Birr aggregate capital received licenses to undertake various development projects in West Tigray Zone, the zonal investment, trade and industry promotion departmtne said.
Department Head, Molla Misgane told ENA that the investors received the licenses during the last six months.
Molla said some 11 of the stated number of investors are engaged in farming on 1200 hectares land.
The rest are undertaking projects in the areas of industry, animal fattening, construction and social service on over 1300 square meters land.
More than 550 investors with close to three billion Birr combined capital are undertaking various development projects in the zone.
