Bahir Dar March 01/2013 Investment projects worth more than 1.1 billion Birr have been licensed in Bahir Dar Town , Amhara State over the first six months of this fiscal year, the town service office said.
The Office told ENA on Thursday that the number of projects increased by 67 while the capital surpassed by 703 million Birr that of in the previous year same period.
It said the projects are in the areas of trade, construction, industry, agriculture, hotel and tourism as well as social service.
Up on going fully operational, the projects will create jobs for more than 5,100 individuals, it said.
