Bahir Dar February 24/2013 Some 32 investors with over 69 million Birr combined capital have received licenses during the last six months to engage in various investment sectors in West Gojjam Zone, Amhara State, the zonal industry and urban development department said.
The department told ENA that the investment projects will be in the areas of construction, agriculture, industry, social service, hotel and tourism, among others.
It said most of the projects are in the construction and agriculture sectors.
Upon going fully operational, the projects are expected to create over 5160 permanent and temporary jobs.
