Hawassa February 22/2013 Different development projects are under construction in South Ethiopia Peoples State with more than 150 million Birr, the Regional Trade, Industry and Urban Development Bureau said.
Communication Affairs Head with the Office, Abebe Dingamo said that construction of the projects is underway in 14 zones and four special woredas in the region.
Abebe said the projects include, among others, construction of gravel roads, installation of lampposts and water pipelines, among others.
Meanwhile, transplantation of 700,000 tree seedlings , construction of public latrines and dirt pits, among others, was also undertaken in the areas, he said.
