Addis Ababa February 19/2013 Ethiopia and Spain signed a new bilateral air transport agreement, the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority said.
The Authority told ENA here Tuesday that the agreement helps to further strengthen existing age old diplomatic relation between Ethiopia and Spain.
Authority Director-General, Col. Wesenyeleh Hunegnaw and Spanish Ambassador to Ethiopia Miguel Angel Fernandez Palacios Martinez signed the agreement.
On the Occasion, Col. Wesenyeleh said the agreement will significantly contribute to further strengthen overall relation between the two countries including in trade and investment sectors and also enhance people-to-people ties.
The Ambassador also said the agreement will contribute in the expansion of destinations of the Ethiopian Airlines in addition to facilitating the growing import and export trade exchange between the two countries.
