Dessie February 17/2013 Investors with over 47 million Birr combined capital are undertaking various projects in Dessie Town of Amhara State during the last six months, the town administration said.
Town Mayor, Alebachew Yesuf told ENA that the investment projects are in the areas of agriculture, education, health and construction, among others.
Alebachew said over 11,400 square meters land is provided to the investors to undertake their projects.
He said upon going fully operational the projects will create more than 1000 jobs.
The investors on their parts said the government is providing the necessary support to help them become successful in their activities.
