Bale February 16/2013 ome 28 investors with over 316 million Birr aggregate capital received licenses during the last six months to engage in the agriculture sector in Bale Zone of Oromia State, the zonal investment office said.
Office Head, Muhdin Ismael told ENA on Friday that the investors have received more than 3000 hectares land in various parts of the zone.
The head said upon going fully operational the projects will create more than 1500 permanent and temporary jobs.
Some 248 investors with over 1.2 billion Birr combined capital are undertaking various projects sectors in the zone since the past couple of years, he said.
The projects have already created more than 2000 jobs, according to documents obtained from the office.
