Negelle February 13/2013 Over 39 investment projects worth over 281 million Birr were licensed in Gujji Zone, Oromia State during the last six months, the zonal investment office said.
Office Representative, Cheri Boru said the projects are in the areas of social service, urban and rural agriculture as well as industry.
The projects will be undertaken on 600 hectares land.
Upon going fully operational the projects will create more than 2,200 jobs.
More than 200 investors with over 1.1 billion Birr combined capital have engaged in different investment activities in the zone.
The projects have created more than 1130 jobs.
