Addis Ababa February 12/2013 The Federal Micro and Small-Scale Enterprises Development Agency said it has created jobs for nearly 700,000 people across the country during the first six months of this fiscal year.
Agency Public Relation Chief Coordinator, Assefa Ferede told ENA that 39 per cent of the stated number of beneficiaries are women.
Assefa said most of the jobs were created in the construction sector.
He attributed the success to coordinated efforts undertaken by stakeholders and the commencement of construction of most of huge government projects.
