Bahir Dar February 09/2013 Construction of 36 manufacturing and display centers launched in Amhara State with over 200 million Birr is well in progress, the regional micro and small-scale enterprises development agency said.
Agency deputy director, Telayneh Wubneh told ENA over the weekend that the centers are being constructed in main towns in the region with the budget allocated by the government.
The director said the centers will enable to offer relevant training, facilitate technology transfer and create market ties, among others.
Agency public relation head, Zelalem Negussie on his part said the centers will help to curb shortage of manufacturing and display areas.
Construction of most of the centers is nearing completion, he said.
