Mettu February 07/2013 Some 154 investors with over half a billion Birr aggregate capital are engaged in various investment sectors, in Illuababora Zone, Oromia State, the zonal investment office said.
Office Head, Gutema Merga told ENA that the investment projects are in the areas of agriculture, trade, industry and social service, among others.
Gutema said the investors have received over 12,300 hectares land to undertake the projects, which have created more than 14,000 jobs.
More than 17,000 hectares investment site is prepared in the zone, he said.
