Ethiopian Ambassador to Mauritania presents credential

  Addis Ababa February 07/2013 Newly appointed Ethiopian ambassador to Mauritania, Hassan Abdulkadir, presented his letter of credence to the country’s President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. According to a statement the Spokesperson's office of the Ministry sent to ENA, Ambassador Hassan, who is based in Dakar, Senegal, on the occasion said that Ethiopia is keen to further strengthen existing historic and firm relation with Mauritania. He also briefed the president on the ongoing activities of Ethiopia to maintain peace and security in Africa in particular in the Horn. President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on his part said his country is keen to strengthen existing friendship with Ethiopia, draw experiences and work closely in particular in the agriculture and aviation sectors.
