Dessie February 03/2013 Various development projects are undertaken in Bati Town, Amhara State with over six million Birr during the last six months, the town administration said.
Town Mayor, Ahmed Hussein told ENA that the projects are carried out in collaboration with the government and the public.
Ahmed said the projects include, among others, construction of 5km cobblestone road, 10km alleys and youth recreation centers.
Activities are also carried out to provide care and support to HIV-orphans as part of the development activities, he said.
