Arbaminch January 30/2013 Close to 4km asphalt road constructed in Arbaminch Town, South Ethiopia Peoples' State with over 27 million Birr has gone operational, the town municipality said.
Municipality Manager, Dawit Hailemariam said construction of pedestrian walkways, flood canals and bridges, among others, were also constructed in the town.
The Gamogofa Zone and the town administration allocated the budget for construction of the road, Dawit said, adding, the public contributed support for the same purpose.
Different infrastructure development activities are underway in the town, which is a tourist destination in the State, he said.
