Addis Ababa January 30/2013 Ethiopia and Botswana here Tuesday signed agreement enabling to enhance air transport sector.
A delegation led by Botswana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Phandu Skelemani discussed with Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom and other officials on bilateral issues between the two countries.
Transport Minister Diriba Kuma and the Botswana's Minister signed the agreement.
Diriba said signing of the agreement indicates commitment of the two countries to further intensify existing relations.
He said the agreement will contribute to strengthen cultural relation between the two countries side by side with trade ties.
Minister Phandu Skelemani also said the agreement will contribute towards growth of African air transport services.
Economic relation between the two countries has been growing from time to time, the Minister said, adding, Ethiopia is significantly contributing towards human resource development in Botswana.
