ICAP donates over 4 mln. Birr worth medical equipment to hospital

  Dire Dawa January 29/2013 The International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP), a humanitarian organization, provided over four million Birr worth medical equipment to Dil Chora hospital in Diredawa Town. ICAP East Ethiopia Director, Dr. Tsigereda Kifle told ENA on Tuesday that the equipment includes, among others, digital X-ray and electro cardiac machines and an oxygen tank. Dr. Tsigereda said the equipment will help to achieve the MDGs in the health sector. The equipment will also help to improve health services in the hospital, she said. HIV/AIDS and communicable section coordinator with the hospital, Dr. Kedir Alemayehu on his part said that the x-ray machine will solve problems related to communicable diseases service delivery.
