Shashemene January 26/2013 Construction of 15 health facilities is underway in West Arssi Zone, Oromia State with over 103 million Birr, the zonal health department said.
The department told ENA that three of the facilities are hospitals while the remaining health stations.
It said the hospitals will go operational in the current Ethiopian year.
Three of the health stations will begin providing service to the public in the near future.
Health service coverage has grown to 100 per cent from the previous 83 per cent following efforts to prevent disease in 324 localities and towns in the zone.
