Chiro January 20/2013 Construction of six schools is underway in West Hararge Zone of Oromia State with over 36 million Birr allocated by the government, the zonal education department said.
Planning and Project Head with the Department, Mebrahtu Regasa told ENA that three of the educational facilities are primary schools while the remaining secondary.
The head said the schools will have capacity to enroll more than 15,000 students.
The schools will help to raise education service coverage to 94 per cent from the previous 86 per cent in the zone, he said.
