Batu January 16/2013 Over 250 condominium houses constructed in Shashemene Town, Oromia State are transferred to beneficiaries on Wednesday, the town housing development agency said.
Agency Manager, Mustafa Kelilo said the government allocated over 56 million Birr for implementation of the housing development project.
The Manager said 337 condos constructed since 1999 E.C. are so far transferred to beneficiaries in the efforts to curb housing shortage in the town.
Efforts are underway to complete construction of over 500 condos at the end of the current Ethiopian year, he said.
