Maichew January 12/2013 Various social service facilities are being constructed in Raya-Alamata Woreda, Southern Tigray Zone with five million Birr, the woreda construction, roads and transport office said.
Office Head, Etenesh Belachew told ENA on Friday that the federal and regional governments allocated the budget for construction of the facilities.
Etenesh said the facilities include, among others, construction of six business centers, a youth recreation center and expansion of three primary and junior secondary schools.
Construction of the facilities is expected to be finalized in the current Ethiopian year, she said.
