Addis Ababa January 10/2013 Training on aviation safety and management was provided to pertinent senior officials and management members in the aviation sector, the Ethiopian Airports Enterprise said.
According to statement public relation and communication office of the Enterprise sent to ENA, the training was offered by a senior expert of the International Civil Aviation Organization is designed to create awareness among the trainees on improved aviation safety.
Trainees drawn from the Ministry of Transport, the Enterprise and Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, among others, took part in the training.
Transport State Minister, Getachew Mengiste on the occasion stressed the need to put in place systems towards safety of the aviation industry thereby build capacity of employees in the sector, the statement said.
