Goba September 09 2013 Some 66 schools constructed in Bale Zone of Oromia State with an outlay of over 58 million Birr are readied for service, the zonal education office said.
Office told ENA that the facilities include 40 primary and six secondary schools as well as two preparatory schools.
The construction of the schools will raise the education coverage of the zone to 93 percent from the current 86 percent.
Over 4,000 students are expected to enroll in the schools in the coming academic year.
Over 410,000 students are attending education in over 736 primary, secondary and preparatory schools.
