Maichew August 16/2013 Ambalge wereda,Southern Tigray zone, constructed 15km rural road with a cost of 9 million Birr.
Woreda Chief, Girmay Gebru said 13,000 people participated in the project and saved close to 500,000 birr.
He added that construction of bridges, eight fords, among other activities are completed; and the road goes operational.
Girmay noted that the road connects rural kebele to rural kebele, and Kebele to woreda in a bid to create ease market access for agricultural products.
Residents Alemayehu Ambaye and Kiros Wolday said that the road enabled them supply their product to the market.
