ADA Gets 419 Million Birr Finacial Pledge So far
Addis Ababa, March 14, 2010 (Addis Ababa) - The Amhara Development Association (ADA) said it has managed to get 419 million Birr financial pledge through its fund raiser program.

ADA Chairperson, Hilawe Youseph said in his report presented to members of the Association at Convention Center here on Sunday that the sum was pledged in its fund raise program held under a theme "ADA 2002 Development Union."

He further said ADA is expected to get about 600 million Birr by April this year.

The proceed obtained from the sale of lottery is encouraging, though the sum obtained is not as anticipated.

Hilawe said ADA will hold a walk in major cities of regions and Addis Ababa soon under a theme "let us move for development".

The event is intended to solicit fund for undertaking development activities in Amhara State.
