Former diplomat urges youth to actively participate in upcoming elections
Addis Ababa, March 14, 2010 (Addis Ababa) Former diplomat, Thomas Gebremariam, urged the youth to actively participate in the upcoming national elections and speed up ongoing development endeavor in the country.

Speaking here on Sunday at a talk show program organized by youth federation of Kirkos Sub-city in Addis Ababa City, the former diplomat, Thomas Gebremariam said the younger generation is expected to contribute its share to the ongoing efforts to build democracy by actively participating in the elections.

Thomas said the youth should take part in the elections to make bright the future of the country.

He said Ethiopia is one of the five countries, which have registered rapid development in the world.

Federation chairperson, Yordanos Tadesse on his part called on youth to exercise their right by casting votes in the lection.
