Company to unveil bio fuel car
Addis Ababa, August 14, 2009 (Addis Ababa) - Holland Car Plc. the first private car assembly in Ethiopia is to unveil bio fuel car in the country.

In a press conference he gave here on Friday Company Manager Eng. Taddesse Tessema said the newly assembled automobile to be displayed in the coming November would use bio fuel.

The automobile would help to reduce the foreign currency to be spent for petroleum, he said. Beneficiaries would decrease their expense for fuel by 50 percent.

Besides, he said the automobile is environment –friendly.

He said bio-fuel can widely be produced in the country where it could create jobs for many Ethiopians.

The manager said the company is also to supply new model automobiles named after Tekeze, Awash and Executive and Abbay Executive soon.

The company which is a joint venture between the Dutch company Trento Engineering BV in Sittard and the Ethiopian company Ethio-Holland PLC in Addis Ababa established in 2005 is producing and distributing cars to local and foreign markets.
