Woldiya, September 25, 2008 (Woldiya) - International tourist information center and museum being constructed at a cost of 65 million birr in Lalibella Town, Amhara State is nearing completion, the town information office said.Office head, Dagnachew Girma told ENA on Thursday that the center is intended to provide information to tourists and promote heritages of Lalibella.
Construction of the museum is believed to conserve heritages of the area.
The center and museum has conference room and offices, among other facilities.
Construction of the museum, expected to be finalized next month, is financed by UNESCO.
