Photographic exhibition opens in Stockholm
Addis Ababa, October 9, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - A photographic exhibition depicting participation of members of Swedish Mekane Eyesus Church in Ethiopia in “Three trees for 3000 project” as well as their visit to Harar town and other eastern parts of the country opened in Stockholm, Sweden.

Ethiopian Ambassador to Scandinavian countries, Dina Mufte said at the opening of the exhibition that participation of the members in tree planting is exemplary, according to a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent to ENA on Thursday.

The ambassador said the members should keep on their participation in taking care of the seedlings and planting more.

Mekane Eyesus Church representative in Sweden, Reverend Yonas Tamiru on his part said the church planted 3000 tree seedlings.

Ethiopian traditional coffee ceremony was held at the occasion and packed Ethiopian coffee was also displayed for sale.

The exhibition will stay open for a month.
