The 17th anniversary of May 28 will be marked at the time when the nation is celebrating its new millennium.

The poster depicts Ethiopian nations, nationalities and peoples joining hands to achieve agriculture led industrialization in the new millennium.

Press products process acting head with the ministry, Solomon Gizaw told ENA on Wednesday that more than 5000 copies of posters were printed.

The posters are to be distributed in cities and towns across the nation as of Wednesday May 14, 2008.

Various events have been organized with the participation of the public in the country since the launching of the new Ethiopian millennium celebration, he said.

The day, which marks the demise of the dictatorial Derg Regime, is another big event to be celebrated colorfully both locally and abroad, he added.
