Goba, March 6, 2008 (Goba) - More than 78,000 candidates running for the upcoming local and by election have begun election campaign in Bale zone of Oromia State, zonal election coordination office announced. Office Coordinator Dejene Bekele said that candidates fielded by the Oromo Propels' Democratic Organization and the United Ethiopian Democratic Forces are campaigning in their respective constituencies.
