Chinese city delegation visits development projects in Dire Dawa
DireDawa, January 3, 2008 (DireDawa) - A delegation from Chinese Goyne City led by the deputy mayor of the city, Liang Nianfeng visited on Thursday on-going development projects in Dire Dawa.

The delegation visited the ‘Ture Cement Factory’, a company, which is established by Ethio-Chinese joint venture with a capital of 307 million Birr and the ‘East Ethiopia Diesel Power Station’.

The delegation will also visit the historical city Harar same day.

The deputy mayor expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development activities in the city.

Meanwhile, Mayor of the Goyne City sent a gift to the Dire Dawa City Interim Administration. Dire Dawa City’s Mayor, Abdulaziz Mohammed received the gift from the head of the Chinese delegation.
