High-level Chinese delegation to visit Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, January 3, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - A high-level Chinese delegation to be led by Chinese Foreign Minister, Yang Jiechi will pay an official visit to Ethiopia during 10-11 Jan. 2008, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

The visit of the 10-member Chinese delegation is aimed at exchanging ideas between senior government officials of the two countries in order to boost the multifaceted Ethio-Chinese Cooperation to a higher level, a statement of the ministry told ENA on Thursday.

During his visit, Yang Jiechi will be meeting and holding discussions with Prime Minister, Meles Zenawi and his Ethiopian counterpart, Seyoum Mesfin on issues of common interest.

According to the statement, the two sisterly countries are expected to sign additional cooperation agreements.
