Addis Ababa, January 3, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - Natives of Tigray donated 55,000 USD to be used for the rehabilitation of war veterans who are living in Tigray State, a website called aiga reported.
The natives raised the stated in a fundraiser event held in Boston City last Saturday.
Tigray Women Association contributed 5,000 USD of the stated amount of fund.
Chairman of the Legal and Administration Affairs Standing Committee Chairman Asmelash Wolde-silassie who attended the fund raising program thanked the natives for their generosity.
