Ethiopia said registering remarkable changes in infrastructure dev’t
Addis Ababa, February 19, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - Members of Tour D'Afrique Ltd, who are touring across the African continent, said Ethiopia has registered remarkable changes infrastructure development in the last few years.

The cycling team has donated 50 cycles to NGOs operating in Ethiopia.

Owner of the Ltd, Henry gold told ENA on Tuesday that the team comprises 62 members commenced its tour from Cairo Egypt and would go to Cape Town, South Africa that covering 12,000 km.

Henry said a few years ago he had been in Ethiopia and he is astonished by the development Ethiopia has registered.

He said especially in real estate and road construction Ethiopia has been registering remarkable changes.

The team has arrived 12 days ago in Ethiopia through Metema from Sudan and visited main tourist attractions.

Members of the team, who is Canadian, Spiros Analytis said it is his first time to come to Ethiopia and said that Ethiopia is a beautiful country and totally different from what he heard from western media.

Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief Director General Bantyirgu Hailemariam on his part said the donated cycle would be distributed to NGOs operating in Ethiopia.

The organizations are Hope for Rural Children Organization, Welfare for Street Mother and Children Organization, Tikuret Legumuz, Benishangul Relief and development association and Canadian physical for Aid and Relief.

The team which started its tour on January 3, 2008 from Cairo, Egypt would expect to reach at Cape Town, South Africa on April 2, 2008.
